So you guys, we’re ½ way through 2016. I know. I’m not sure how it happened either.  And with the exception of winter seeming For-E-Ver long, (#shamelesssandlotreference) I cannot get over how this year is flying by.  It seems like just yesterday we were making goals for the year and writing a round-up of our top posts from 2015.

To celebrate life in this 7th month of the year, we thought we’d look back with you over our top 7 posts of the year. A little “best of” round-up for 2016 as she is right now.

#1 How we Overcame our Greatest Disappointment & What it means for you

This post represents, our heart, our vision and the re-launch of our site and ministry that happened in March.  If you’ve ever wondered about our journey with infertility, know someone who could use encouragement, or would just love to find out more info on what we offer and how it could help you?  This is the post for you! 🙂

#2 10 NEW Date Night Songs

We are super fans/advocates of date night and apparently so are you!  Last year we gave you a Mega Date Night Playlist with about 20-ish songs!  But this year, we reigned it in a bit and thought 10 would be a good launch pad to get your own date night playlist rolling.  PLUS, our own personal playlist is always growing (Ben Rector anyone?!) and it gives us even more chances to introduce you to some great songs in the future! And that’s what we, in the biz, call a “Win-Win.” I’m just going to apologize right now for the multiple cheesy movie references this post contains.

#3 Give your dated TV Stand a Modern Makeover

Apparently, we aren’t the only ones who have a piece of furniture saying, “Paint me. Paint me. Can someone please paint me? Paint me please.” If you love practically free DIY projects as much as we do, check this one out.  Also, you should know that the Mr. and I, we’re not that handy, not our gift. So if WE can do this…your No Small Life should most definitely give it a shot 😉

#4  3 Takeaways from the Movie “War Room” that Might just Change your Life

I came right out and said it, I am not always a fan of Christian movies. They try, they really do. But sometimes, they try way too hard. Bless their hearts.  But this movie, was the exception to the rule. And if you’ll let it, this movie could honestly change your prayer life and your marriage.

#5  6 Things We All Do that Damage our Relationships: Part One

We loved writing this series and just wrapped it up a few weeks ago.  If you missed any of them, they’re all under the “Relationships” tab of the blog. Be sure to check them out!  However, apparently #1 was your fav! Was it because your I gave you a free Phone Wallpaper in it? I’m sure that HAD to be it. 😉

#6 Why OUR trip to Nashville could change YOUR Relationship

We let the cat out of the proverbial bag in this post. AND  gave you lots of tips, tricks and pics to inspire your our weekend road trip to Nashville. We fell hard for this city and we think you might too. Also included in this post are: a 2-story Whole Foods, a peek inside Dave Ramsey’s studio, Reese Witherspoon’s store, AND…a MP3 we did on “10 keys to sustaining a healthy relationship.” And if those aren’t incentives for you, well then I have 2 words for you: Cupcake. ATM. Got you there didn’t I? Check it out.

#7 4 Keys to Growing Spiritually and Connecting with God

I LOVE to hear how other people connect with the Lord. It not only encourages me, but often helps me break out of a rut when I feel my time with God growing stale. I think that’s one of the reasons I loved this post from Chris so much. It was funny and honest and authentic. A true glimpse into what it looks like to connect to the heart of God consistently. Genuine people have my heart. I’ve known this guy since we were 15 years old and trust me when I say, he’s as genuine as they come. (insert-”awwww”) #sappywifemoment

So far 2016 has not been without its surprises and challenges as I’m sure most of you can relate.  But one thing is for certain, when you know who holds your No Small Life together, you can walk in peace, confidence and even a “cheerful expectancy” (ie Hope) towards your future.  None of us know what the rest of 2016 will hold, but I hope that makes you excited and not fearful; we’re believing there’s some great things in store.

Until next time,

Meg

I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in Him. Romans 15:13 NLT
