You see there comes a point in everyone’s life when they know it’s time to try and improve their health. My point was turning 30.
My 30’s, brought with it some great things, things I welcomed with open arms. The slowing of my metabolism however, wasn’t one of them. It became apparent: If I didn’t take action my life was going to be effected in a negative way.
I was an athlete in high-school and at 30, I started to feel winded just walking up a flight of stairs.
I used to eat whatever I wanted and at 30 I started feeling tired after lunch and needing a caffeine hit to keep me going.
Finally, enough was enough. I had, what can only be described as a, “Come at me bro,” kind of moment with 30. We fist bumped. It was cool. And the next day I decided to test out a few solutions to improve my health.
So here we are. Full on into 2017. And chances are we all need to keep our words of the year and our goals infront of our eyes more than ever lest February comes and snatches them away.
See January 2nd, the gyms are PACKED. Everyone and their Grandpa are making fitness goals. And we think that’s amazing because no matter your current level of physical health, all of us can do something to take it up a notch.

3 weeks ago I bought a rutabaga and it caused a small uprising in the grocery store. There were befuddled side-glances from my fellow shoppers and a, “I wondered who actually ate those things,” from the stock boy. Upon entering the checkout line, my root vegetable selection gave the cashier a borderline panic attack, “What IS this thing?” she said with absolute wonderment.
You can’t buy motivation, but you CAN buy music. So it’s sort of like the same thing. If your No Small Life could use a little motivation in the exercise department, then you’ve come to the right place today my friend.
Did it terrify you? Did it make you want to go and pout in the corner?

Option C? Good. Call.
The beloved Shamrock Shake has been a marketing staple for McDonald’s since the 1970’s. And who wouldn’t love the idea of something creamy, minty, and green to welcome in St. Patty’s Day and everyone’s favorite season SPRING.

For the good of humanity, I eat breakfast, and I think you should too.
Cranky pants over here without the breakfast.

It’s that time of year again, gyms are PACKED and everyone and their Grandpa are making fitness goals. And you know what, that’s amazing because no matter your current level of physical health, all of us can do something to go to take it up a notch.
Maybe for you, “up a notch,” looks like simply starting to exercise, maybe for you that looks like saying yes to that ½ marathon or a Tuesday night Spin class.
Regardless of where you’re at, we can all make strides to challenge ourselves.
Now, most likely, you’ve probably made fitness goals in the past. You got super excited, you laced up those Nike’s and you even bought…a thigh master.
